Mummy Addy
She was speaking few words like mama, dada and other things but now she clearly says Mummy and Addy.
Unfortunatley to every favourite things.So we have now several mummy and addy. Sigh!

First Walk
She walked without falling with pretty good balance exactly two months after she took her first steps.

First B'day
Her B'day started with almsgiving "dane" at Warburton temple and she got the blessings from the monk.
She had a very good time with her friend Dihini who came from Canberra. They were running around and playing the whole time.
Antara was chatting a lot with Dihini in her own secretive language.In the evening she enjoyed
cutting her 1st Bday cake ("Winnie the pooh") with a nice Happy bday background music played by Sat uncle.
Asanka and Sat uncle sang variety of songs. She also enjoyed feeding ducks, playing in the slide and the bbq dinner.

First Three Steps
She took her first three steps watching Hi5 (children
program). She was so excited to see other kids dancing , she
wanted to touch them and went walking. Pretty amazing. She has
been taking odd steps now and then since.

Ear Pierced at parkhill plaza pharmacy
It was a sudden decision since we saw a new ear piercing method
and confident staff. Simply load the ear piercing cartridge,
align the point of the ear piercing stud with the mark on the
ear lobe, and squeeze. She was very difficult didn't let her
touch her head and cried while marking the spot for
piercing. However we hold her tight and two staff pierced her
ears with the earrings attached in one smooth and quiet
operation. She was fine after two minutes and was smiling and
laughing...

Antara first tastes of solid food with the silver cutlery [ Baby feeding spoon and container].She had her first organic rice [finely
milled, cooked and dried into small flakes] mix with moms milk.

First smile to DAD
Dad's feelings: She was crying and Meeta
was trying to give her Vitamins, I was totally exhausted and was
worn-out however I got up and tried to console her crying.
Suddenly Antara looked at me and stopped crying and gave
beautiful her magical smile three times. The “three smile”
healed my exhaustion. Unfortunately we couldn’t
capture(video/photo) this moment to share with you all. |

First smile to MOM
Mom's feelings: As usual as other days
after the afternoon feed around 3.30p.m.I was just playing with
her. Suddenly she looked at me and gave her wonderful smile two
times. I felt so special that she gave her first social smile to
me. I love my precious little angel.
